John Fulker, BSc., GAICD
John is the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for managing the group’s financial and operational issues, reporting directly to the managing director and board of directors. Prior to joining Provident Capital John has held various senior positions namely with Credit Agricole Indosuez, as COO for a number of countries in Australia/Asia and more recently with the Milestone Group consulting in technology and operational risk.
Butch Hornby, B.Comm, Dip Acc, CA.
Butch is the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for managing the company’s finance and treasury functions. Prior to joining Provident Capital Butch was a partner of the accounting firm Deloitte for 10 years and CFO and CEO of a hospitality company, both located in South Africa. Since moving to Australia, Butch has also worked as General Manager–Business Performance, Strategy and Operations at CBA.
Louise Solari
Louise heads our Client Services team, which is the first point of contact for all investment and lending clients. Louise has had 13 years experience in Banking and Financial Services and has held a range of positions with the Commonwealth Bank including Business Continuity Manager for CommInsure and Manager of the Superannuation and Managed Investments Call centre. Louise was awarded the CEO Service Award for Excelling in Client Services in 2004.
Stephen Turner, B.Ec.
Stephen is our Head of Credit & Lending and is responsible for the credit underwriting process and credit quality of the mortgage loan portfolio. He has over 30 years experience in retail, commercial banking and property finance with a number of major banking institutions. Prior to joining Provident Capital, Stephen was Senior Manager Credit & Lending at St. George Bank where he managed their Specialised Mortgage Solutions team.
Andrew Parker, B.Comm, B.Econ, Grad Dip. Applied Fin. & Invest, MBA, CA, SA Finsia.
Andrew is the State Manager for Provident Capital's Queensland office. Andrew has had a strong exposure to all aspects of consumer and business banking, wealth management and insurance services. With more than 15 years experience in the Financial and Professional Services industry, Andrew’s previous roles include General Manager, Local Business Banking, Commonwealth Bank and Assistant Vice President, Citigroup Investment and Corporate Banking.
Bob Hunter
Bob is the Managing Director of Provident Access – a specialist financier that is part of the Provident Capital Group. He has 30 years experience in the banking and finance industry, specialising in property lending at a managerial, executive and board level. Bob’s previous roles have included Executive Director of EuroFinance and Director of the Aussie Home Loans Group.
Nick Corrie, MA Physics.
Nick is the Head of Information Technology (IT) and has 16 years experience in the IT field; most of it was gained in London working for companies such as the Walt Disney Company and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Nick’s role at Provident Capital is to oversee all IT development and system support to ensure projects are delivered on time and with appropriate functionality to support the business and our client’s needs.
